Introducing our new Plushie Pals program! With the support of the VOCM Cares Foundation we are launching a new interactive learning experience for children.

Designed for children ages 4–12 (exceptions can be made for families with children outside this age range ), the program gives each child the opportunity to visit the shelter and choose their very own cat or dog plushie, along with pet accessories, and receive an official adoption certificate. They'll also have the chance to meet a real veterinarian, who will perform a medical exam on their new plushie pet.

The goal of Plushie Pals is to provide a fun, interactive way for children to learn about animal adoption, responsible pet ownership, and veterinary medicine.

When: Saturday July 11th from 12:00 to 3:30PM

Where: SPCA Baccalieu Trail Shelter @ 46 Gullies Rd, Spaniard's Bay

Cost: Free thanks to the VOCM Cares Foundation
